The sensational Jamie Cullum’s live tour is coming to a city near you this May. As part of the world tour to promote his 2009 Verve album, Jamie returns fresh from the Australasian leg of the tour where he sold out at some of the biggest venues in Singapore, Syndey and Tokyo.
Blowing away any preconceptions you may have, his latest album proves just how talented this young singer/song-writer/instrumentalist is. His diverse range of tracks cross genres and styles from big-band to proggy house/dance by way of standard swing and even Broadway ballad!
If you’re in Ireland you can catch Cullum at the Olympia in Dublin on Sunday 9th May before he heads across to start his English set of dates in Newcastle on the 11th. Following his concert at the Liverpool Philharmonic on Friday 14th May (already sold out) you can then see him at Manchester Bridgewater Hall on the 17th May. One of our favourite’s and also the most technically advanced venue in the country: Bridgewater Hall is almost acoustically perfect (going as far as being built on giant earthquake-proof springs to prevent external noise and vibrations).
Dates have also been confirmed at the Royal Concert Hall in Nottingham for the following Friday and on Saturday 22nd he’ll be playing Colston Hall in Bristol, his penultimate dates before jetting off to Portugal and Spain.
